Two months ago (Sept. 2016) my interest in home accessories brought me back to Decorex. This event is one of the most prestigious international home accessories exhibitions held in London annually. Having this kind of events in this country is a great opportunity to see vast collections of interesting and high standard interior design creations from around the world exhibited in one place. This year’s venue was at one of the historic places in London, the Syon Park Gardens.
The event was actually not inside this historic building at Syon Park but it was at the big open ground across the road from it.
This event is ideal for interior designers as well as discerning home owners. They open their door to the public at the latter part of the exhibition period. I went during its last day but it was still packed.
I am not an interior designer but I love to explore these kinds of exhibitions. I took some photos of the designs that have inspired me. Please consider IP Rights of the designers.
A grand bathtub for a grand home
Another grand bathtub from Maison Valentina exhibited by Luxxo
Bathroom design from Mercado da Pedra
A pretty centre table, ideal for a smaller place.
A giant garden sculpture by David Harber. The sculptor has made some amazing collections.
Glass chandeliers. An exceptional craftmanship from Baroncelli, London
Another Baroncelli lighting design
Industrial-looking wine conveyor by Cellar Maison. I love this one.
Vintage looking snake coffee table
Candle-holders from Ooumm, Paris. (also in my cover photo)
Pretty decorative ceramics
Another pretty decorative ceramic by Joanna Bird
An electrifying wall mirror
There were many more to see, but I only took photos of those designs that I admire the most. I’ll probably find myself in this event again next year.
A gentle reminder – please consider IP Rights of designers thank you!
